Visit Wat Arun, Thailand’s renowned Temple of Dawn, and be mesmerized by its beauty. The rich heritage can be seen in this magnificent temple standing gracefully by the river.
The temple reflects the vibrant culture of this country with its elaborate designs and delicate tiles. It is more than 80 meter-high and is reputed to be Thailand’s Eiffel Tower. You can get a taste of history and spirituality here.
It’s one of six temples in Thailand that are first-class royal temples, the highest grade. Come and visit the beautiful temple with a huge statue of a reclining Buddha (46m long and 15m high) that is about as long as four elephants lined up!

We will take a public ferry that will take us to Wat Arun (Temple of the Dawn). On the way, we will enjoy the beautiful views of the water.
After taking the ferry to the other side of the river, we will cross over and visit another beautiful temple.
After the temples, we’ll take the MRT (local subway transit) to Talat Noi (Street Art). On this leg of the tour, we’ll see street art, hidden cafes and visit a Chinese temple.
Known for its street food (especially seafood), this is one of the world’s largest Chinatowns. We could also grab a bite to eat along the way if you’re interested.
Sampeng market is a “must-visit” wholesale market in Bangkok where you can get children’s items, accessories, beauty products, gifts, and souvenirs.

Manow organized also a very interesting tour with a longtail boat along the khlongs of Thonburi and the Chao Phraya. We Visited wat Paknam and Artist’s House during this tour.

Informative and Fun Half Day Tours in Bangkok - Manow (Showme Thai/All About Thai) my tour guide is very professional and friendly. On the first mini-tour, she met me at the hotel in Sukhumvit and we explored a cool... read more pedestrian part of the old city and had a relaxing drink along the river. It was a good intro to Bangkok because we used taxi, sky train, and boat! I was super jet lagged as it was my first day so it was an orientation to Bangkok and also a chill area. On the second mini-tour, we saw some of the historic temples of Old Siam. We saw the Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Pho) and took the ferry to see Wat Arun. Manow showed me historic things but also gave me a perspective on contemporary Thailand as well as gave me travel recommendations for other parts of the country. I recommend Manow to others and I will contact her the next time I am in the country.
